Abyaneh is famous for its reddish hue clay containing iron oxide, that’s why some people called it the Red Village. Abyaneh is a historic village in Isfahan province of Iran close to Kashan and Natanz. The village is in a long and narrow valley on the foot of Kakas Mountains. People in Abyaneh, from all age ranges, wear the village traditional clothes; even little children. Abyaneh is one of the oldest villages in Iran. It is known to have existed 2,500 years ago.
